1 night retreats - Theme: Self-compassion (self-care techniques, space and relaxation)

  • LL54 6BW Trigonos LL54 6BW Snowdonia (map)

This is the perfect bite-size getaway when you don’t have the time or resources to take a full weekend retreat, with just over 24 hours peace and quite and soulful views, food and head-space. This involves us arriving on Thursday late morning, with a full day including a light lunch, afternoon cake and tea, and dinner. The next morning will include breakfast, morning sessions and cake/ tea before we head off. You can always book an extra night by yourself for Friday night too if you wanted to extend it. These are more of a pit stop with the focus about learning and relaxation

When you join our membership and have access to more than 10 classes weekly and 100's of videos in our back catalogue, not to mention many discounts to well-being products, services and retreats or sign up now to one of our membership packages.

Why do we need self-compassion? I think it’s because many of us are guilty of beating ourselves up, of self-sabotaging thoughts and always trying to do the right thing. This can leave us feeling quite fatigued and down on ourselves. Never feeling like we can get it right.

This retreat is all about getting back to ourselves and remembering who we are, that you are a good person, that you are an amazing person and that you are enough.  In fact, you are more than enough and sometimes we need to borrow the words from others to embed them into our own subconscious. This is what we will be doing on this retreat where we will explore the concept of self-love, work with the heart and heart-based workshops with Julie and practical applications of self-care with Clare. Nic will also be there to talk about her own experiences with heart opening and truly beginning to love herself for the first time.

In addition to this, there will be lots of opportunity to spend some time by yourself in order to reconnect to you, to enjoy walks, to be peaceful in the beautiful grounds of the Trigonos land. Not only that but to feed yourself nourishing organic food that will also lift your vibration or be around like minded people who will also help lift and elevate your frequency and confidence in yourself. Do not worry if you feel anxious about coming somewhere new if it's your first time. Many people have felt like same here before and come back time and time again after taking first step, have the courage.

Note this retreat is Thursday to Friday (not the weekend)

CLARE MARIE

5 years ago I decided to change my career.

After running my own opticians for 20 years, I was under a lot of stress, anxiety and had no work-life balance, and was entering menopause!

After seeking help from my GP I was only given the option of anti-depressants I decided to look down the holistic therapy route. I was blown away by how reflexology gave me not only a deep sense of relaxation but left me feeling totally rejuvenated, I was able to sleep better which enabled me to think more clearly to the point that it transformed my life and I retrained in Aromatherapy, Crystal Therapy, Reiki & Reflexology so I could help other women like me. I would love all women to experience the transformation I went through. Since embarking on putting myself first with holistic therapies and changing my career I have never looked back.

The journey that I have embarked on has awakened the real me, and I would love to take you on this journey of self-discovery. I truly believe that holistic treatments are not a luxury, but rather a stepping stone on the pathway to wellness.

Crystal Grid and Healing

I will be going to use crystals for them to connect with around self love compassion working through certain chakras using oracle cards journaling their experiences followed by a meditation ocean of love where they will have the crystals on them and I will bring sound into the meditation with the ocean drum rain stick and chimes.

Treatments:

  • Crystal Therapy - £30 - 30 mins

Crystal therapy has been used for centuries to help treat the body holistically for various ailments. The uses of these beautiful minerals date back to Egyptian times. Crystal therapy is a complementary and natural approach. This therapy will offer you a chance to lie back, relax and get in touch with your body's energies so you can leave feeling refreshed, restored and de-stressed.

  • Reflexology - £30 - 30 mins

Reflexology is a natural, non-intrusive complementary therapy. It is based on the theory that the organs, glands and systems of the body are mapped out on the feet, face, hands and ears. Reflexology is holistic and encompasses the whole person. Each treatment is bespoke, taking into account your emotional and mental well being as well as physical symptoms.

  • Reiki - £30 - 30mins

Reiki is a powerful system of natural healing energy This energy flows through all living things and is vital to our well-being. Reiki helps promote a feeling of deep relaxation, enabling inner harmony, balance and well-being. Reiki works wherever you need it most, gently releasing blocked energies and toxins, creating a state of harmony and balance within the mind, body and spirit.

I had never done anything like this before and I felt nurtured and supported all the way through, from the helpful emails on the lead up, until the moment I arrived and settled in. I was wondering if I would be ok to come alone but then I started to relax as soon as I saw the mountains and lake and met some amazing ladies.

It was absolutely everything that I didn’t know I needed. All my tension left me and I’m still buzzing from it now. I also learned a lot from the teachers and the ladies with me.

I love the fact I can dip back in with a mini-retreat for a quick fix too, when I need it. You will not regret this!
