Arrival Information for Bachwen
- On arrival please drive very carefully at no more than 5mph whilst on site and find a parking space in one of our dedicated parking areas.
- Your host's contact details will be displayed at reception adjacent to the main site entrance.
- The site mobile number is 07484767296
- Your property will be open and you will find the keys inside along with some further arrival information.
- Please note, all of our cottages are non smoking
- All bedding, towels and bathmats are provided however if you wish to use a sofa bed in any of the cottages you are welcome but please provide your own bedding
- If you have dogs, please bring your own blankets and baskets for them to sleep on in the cottages. We do not allow dogs in bedrooms. Around the site keep them on a lead at all times whilst other guests (and their animals) are around.
- We are obviously a very exposed site and as such it can sometimes be stormy. In those cases the log burners may not work as desired and smoke can be blown back down the chimney. Therefore we strongly advise you do not use them in these times.
- On departure, please leave the keys in the place you found them and leave the property open
Provisions
- We provide 2 rubbish bags, 2 dishwasher tablets and handwash. Please bring everything else you think you will need.

Extra Information for Pods and Camping
- Pods are provided with futon style beds but please bring all bedding
- Please feel free to arrive after 3pm and please leave at the end of you holiday before 11am
- Please drive through the site and park in the area to the right before you get to the Barn and feel free to grab one of our carts or wheelbarrows to take any of your clothes/ equipment to your pod/ pitch
- Our pods and camping are set in our beautiful glade areas but as such, in some weather conditions, access can be tricky. We therefore ask that you take extra care when walking around these areas and strongly advise to bring torches
- All cooking on either BBQ's / gas or electric stoves is done strictly at your own risk
- You should never under any circumstances bring BBQs inside and they must always be fully ventilated
- Our pods also have wood burning stoves; however, they are used at your own risk.
- Outside fires are also allowed but only in designated areas and you must always have means to extinguish near by.
- Your host will also give you a code to allow you access to the toilet and shower area on the other side of the Barn.
- Washing up facilities are also provided for all adjacent to the Barn. Please bring washing up equipment with you.
- Please respect our other residents on site. Music should not be played after 10pm and we ask you to keep voices to a very low level after that time.
PLEASE NOTE: Access to Burdock is via a steep stair and under a low branch. It is very private and beautiful, but please take this into consideration when booking. Also due to the private nature of the Glade there is a c.100m walk from the car park. We provide wheelbarrow and carts to help and our hosts will also be glad to help.
If you have any questions when you arrive please feel free to call the site host at anytime. We do not anticipate entering your property whilst you are on site unless there are critical maintenance issues.
Cant wait to see you at Bach Wen
